Three tracks, from after-school clubs to the TUSKERS Sports Academy

Sports at BASIS International School Bangkok run on three tracks: after-school activities, the TUSKERS Sports Academy, and Seasonal Sport Clubs. After-school activities are open to students from Early Years through Grade 12, while the Academy and Seasonal Sport Clubs give keen athletes a competitive pathway. Students can train in swimming, football, basketball, badminton, volleyball, tennis, table tennis, taekwondo, gymnastics, and muay thai. Most sessions are led by specialist coaches.

We treat athletics as part of a full education. Alongside the sport itself, students build discipline, teamwork, and the confidence that comes from steady progress.

Why sport is part of a BASIS education

Training teaches the same habits that make strong students. Students turn up, work hard, and improve week by week. On the field and in the pool, they learn to manage their time, keep going through setbacks, and win and lose with grace.

It is the same spirit our teams carry onto the field. Go TUSKERS!
